Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Clarity Vibes mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Clarity Vibes ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old to use the Service. By using Clarity Vibes, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We may request verification of your age at any time.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the accuracy of your profile information.
• You may not create more than one account or use another person's account.
• You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Community Guidelines

Clarity Vibes is a community-first platform. You agree to:

• Be respectful: Treat all users with courtesy and respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, and bullying are not tolerated.
• Be honest: Do not misrepresent yourself, your identity, or your intentions.
• Keep it safe: Do not share content that is violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
• No solicitation: Do not use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam, or advertising without our prior written consent.
• No illegal activity: Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Respect privacy: Do not share other users' personal information without their consent.

4. Events

• Event hosts are responsible for the accuracy of event details, including time, location, and description.
• Clarity Vibes is a platform for organizing events. We are not the host or organizer of user-created events and bear no responsibility for what happens at them.
• Attendees participate in events at their own risk.
• We reserve the right to remove events that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Places and Venues

Venue listings on Clarity Vibes are provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of venue information, including operating hours, NA beverage availability, or ratings. We are not affiliated with listed venues unless explicitly stated.

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, reviews, event descriptions).
• By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service.
• We may remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post.

7. Safety and Reporting

• You can block any user at any time. Blocked users cannot see your profile, message you, or see your event RSVPs.
• You can report users or events that violate these Terms. We review all reports and may take action including warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.
• If you feel unsafe, contact local authorities. Clarity Vibes is not an emergency service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logo, brand, and underlying technology, is owned by Clarity Vibes and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

9. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the app's Profile settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarity Vibes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clarity Vibes and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms in the app and updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
